1.     Figurative Language helps the reader become invested in the story being read.  This includes symbolism, simile, metaphor, and allusion.  Examine your novel and identify two figurative language pieces. How do they affect your understanding of the story?

2.     Identify the climax of the novel.  What decision did the protagonist have to make? What was the outcome?

3.     Give two or three traits for your character.  What in the story led you to choose these traits?

4.     Denoument is the moment in which a character learns something they didn’t realize before.  It usually occurs towards the end of a story.  What is the denoument for your character?

3.     Setting incorporates much more than time and place.  What new ideas, prejudices, and routines have been added to your setting in the novel?
